Prayer for Protection from Evil
A prayer asking God to shield heart, home, and family from every form of evil and temptation.
Almighty God, my refuge and my strength, I come to You today asking for Your protection.
Shield me from every evil that would reach my body, my mind, or my soul. Guard the doors of my home, the words of my mouth, and the thoughts I let take root in my heart.
Where I am tempted, give me courage to turn away. Where I am weak, be my defense. Let nothing that means me harm find a foothold in my life.
Cover my family with the same mercy, Lord. Watch over the ones I love when they are far from me, and bring them home safely.
Surround us with Your holy angels, and let Your light drive out whatever darkness would draw near.
I trust that You are stronger than anything I fear. In Your name I rest, and in Your name I am kept. Amen.
