Prayers for Healing
Prayers for healing of body, mind and spirit: for yourself, a sick friend or family member, and before surgery.
Jesus spent much of His ministry healing the sick, and the Church has prayed for the sick ever since. James 5:14 tells the sick to call the elders to pray over them.
These prayers are for times of illness, recovery and waiting. They work for yourself or for someone you love, and they can be prayed alongside medical care, never instead of it.
