Powerful Night Prayer for Family

Heavenly Father, the day is spent and the house grows quiet. Before sleep takes us, I bring my family to You — each name, each face, each heart You know better than I do.

Bless the ones sleeping under this roof tonight, and bless the ones who are far from it. Wherever they lay their heads, let Your hand rest gently upon them.

Heal what the day has bruised. Where there were sharp words between us, soften them. Where there was worry, replace it with trust. Where someone carried a burden alone, let them feel You carrying it with them.

Guard our home through the dark hours. Keep fear from our children's dreams, keep sickness from our bodies, and keep bitterness far from our door.

Lord, I cannot watch over them while I sleep, but You never sleep. So I place them in Your keeping — freely, and without holding anything back.

Wake us in the morning with mercy, and let us rise together, grateful for another day in Your love.
