A warm good morning prayer to greet the day with gratitude and place its hours in God's hands.
Good morning, Lord. Before the noise of the day begins, I want to say thank You — for breath, for light, for another chance to begin again.
You have carried me through the night, and You will carry me through the hours ahead. Help me to remember that, especially when the morning feels heavy or the day ahead feels long.
Settle my heart before I rush. Let me start slowly and kindly, with patience for myself and for the people I will meet today.
Give me clear eyes to see what matters, a steady hand for the work in front of me, and a gentle word for anyone who needs one.
Where I stumble, lift me. Where I am tempted to be short or unkind, soften me. Where I am tired, be my quiet strength.
And when this day is spent, let me look back on it and know that I walked it with You.
